Human Roots and Modern therapy

Traditional courtyard with stone walls, archways, and a small fountain surrounded by potted plants. Stairs with a decorative railing and wooden doors lead to an upper level. Natural sunlight illuminates the space.

Becoming a Person is a holistic practice rooted in ancient wisdom and modern science. I help people heal by returning to what we’ve always known—that the mind and body are not separate, but one. This truth was central to the teachings of Aristotle and Avicenna, and it remains vital today.

My approach goes beyond treating symptoms. It looks to our evolutionary roots, when humans lived in deep connection with nature, community, and their own instincts. Back then, people weren’t “primitive”—they were aligned with the rhythms of life. Like every flower or atom, each of us carries a natural blueprint—a built-in compass for balance, safety, and joy.

Today, many of us feel lost because we’ve strayed too far from that design. But our innate wisdom is still alive inside us. Inspired by the work of John Bowlby and others in evolutionary psychology, I’ve come to see that much of our anxiety, burnout, and disconnection stems from living in ways our nervous system was never meant to handle.

At Becoming a Person, I offer an integrative path back to wholeness—one that blends nervous system healing, lifestyle realignment, community reconnection, and spiritual grounding. I believe the past holds the keys to our future, and that through this work, each person can reclaim their natural strength, clarity, and peace.

The greatest mistake physicians make is to attempt to heal the body without seeking to heal the mind, for the mind and body are one and should not be treated separately."
